Rack Railway

From Ribes de Freser, just a five-minute walk from Hotel Els Caçadors, you can catch the Rack railway that takes you to the Vall de Núria, one of the most greatly admired places in Catalonia, not only thanks to its natural beauty but also thanks to the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Núria in the centre of the valley.

The only way to reach the Vall de Núria is by means of this unique transport: a train which travels 12.5 kilometres and climbs more than 1,000 metres. The ticket includes the return journey, exhibitions, an audiovisual presentation, the Vall de Núria interpretation centre and a visit to the Basilica.
