The Vall de Ribes

The Vall de Ribes includes the municipal areas of Ribes de Freser (its most important town and the economic capital of the valley), Campelles, Planoles, Pardines, Queralbs, and Toses, as well as the Vall de Núria Ski Resort and the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Núria. It is in the north-west of the Ripollès region near the River Freser.  

The zone's main attraction is its ecological wealth, in which water is found in the form of springs, water fountains or torrents with typical high mountain plant life. You can discover unexpected panoramic views from anywhere, with a particular mention of Romanesque architecture and villages with their own personality. Winter and snow sports, the typical craft products made in the area, its culture of mountain customs and traditions give the Vall de Ribes its unique character..
